The best way to experience Venice is by walking. The St. Mark’s Square with its dominating clock tower and millions of pigeons is the most popular place. St. Mark’s Basilica is famous for amazing mosaics, domes, statutes and the golden lion, Next in the list is the Doge’s Palace,-and this beautiful palace dating back to the Renaissance times houses the largest oil painting of the world and leads to the jail where Casanova was imprisoned. The other attractions include The Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs. Last but not the least a tour of Venice can never be complete without a Gondola ride.
Tourist can shop for glassware, delicate lasses, paper Mache, antiques, jewelry, leather products, carnival masks and music recordings of some wonderful concerts which form Venice as souvenirs back home.
